Defense Ministry mourns army martyrs in Marib

Yemeni Ministry of Defense and Command of General Staff have mourned in a statement the martyrdom of a number of army personnel and civilians in cowardly ballistic missile attack in Marib province.
The ballistic missile targeted worshipers affiliated to the Fourth Presidential Guards Brigade and other military units, including civilians.
The statement expressed condolences to the political leadership represented by His Excellency President Field Marshal Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, his deputy Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, and to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and Chief of Staff.
The statement also expressed heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the martyrs, praying to Allah Almighty to bless their souls and wishing the injured immediate recovery.
“The Yemeni people are aware that these criminal acts by the Iranian militias by targeting the gatherings of worshipers are an attempt to revenge for killing the Iranian terrorist Qassem Soleimani….. and this is the militias’ black and bloody history, the statement reads.
The Ministry of Defense and Command of General Staff directed commanders of military units at various military sites to raise the readiness and the level of precautions and security measures at this difficult stage, stressing that the battle against the coup militia and terrorism is still open and that victory is inevitably coming, thanks to God, then with the steadfastness and bravery of the Army forces supported by brothers in the Saudi-led coalition member states.
