Army troops makes new progress in Taiz

The army forces made on Monday new field progress in the west of Taiz province, southwest of Yemen.
The army forces managed to regain control over several sites in Hedran valley west of Taiz, after massive attack against Iran-backed Houthi militia stationed in the area.
The clashes resulted in the killing of a number of Houthi militants including the field leader known as Abu Abdulaziz and wounding others.
In the context, the army troops thwarted two infiltrations attempts launched by Houthi militia on liberated sites in the east and west of Taiz. The army troops forced the Houthi rebels to flee after inflicting them heavy losses.
