MASAM removes 1,616 Houthi-laid mines during the 4th week of January
The Saudi project for demining in Yemen, MASAM, has removed 1,616 landmines during the fourth week of this January planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in different areas in Yemen.
MASAM announced that the project’s field teams removed six anti-personnel mines, 402 anti-tank mines, 11 explosive devices and 1.197 unexploded shells.
The center pointed out that the program removed 125. 902 landmines planted by Houthi terrorist militia in lands, schools and houses and hidden them in fake shapes, killing and seriously injuring big number of children, women and aged people.
