Yemen’s Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said the UN peace mediator Martin Griffiths’ silence over the daily Houthi crimes in Yemen is “suspicious and raises question marks.”
The theocratic Houthi militia fired on Wednesday night a missile into a neighborhood in the government-held city of Marib leaving six internally displaced persons injured, three women and children , and leaving others missing under the rubble.
Al-Eryani said, ‘Marib, which hosts more than two million refugees who had fled the Houthi terrorism is coming under recurrent attacks with ballistic missiles and Iranian-made drones as the international community stands tight lipped and the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths fails to condemn and stop these attacks.”
He said, “Continuing this silence suspicious silence raises question marks.”
