Yemeni Armed forces on Thursday foiled an infiltration attempt by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in the north-eastern province of Al-Jawf.
A group of Houthi militiamen tried to infiltrate army-controlled positions in the Aqaba front, northeast of the provincial city of Al-Hazm, but the army forces could spot them and force them to retreat.
In a related context, army artillery destroyed a combat vehicle and reinforcements of the Houthi militia on the same front.
Moreover, clashes broke out between the army forces and Houthi militia in al-Ahmer mountain, within Ham mountain range, north of the Al-Motoon district, during which the militia suffered heavy losses in life and equipment.
