A citizen killed by Houthi shelling in Hodeidah

A civilian was killed by artillery shelling launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia on residential neighborhoods south of Hodeida province, western Yemen.
Local sources said that the rebel militia launched on Monday evening intense artillery bombardment on residential neighborhoods in the Al-Faza area of Al-Tohaita district.
A 60-year-old man Yahya Salem was exposed to shrapnel of a mortar shell hit him while coming home, according to the sources.
Medical sources at Khawkha hospital confirmed the citizen died only few moments upon arrival at the hospital as his injury was deadly.
The Houthi militia has continued its violations of the UN-Sponsored ceasefire in Hodeidah by indiscriminate shelling on residential neighborhoods in the province, causing civilian casualties, including women and children, in addition to serious damage to civilians’ homes and properties.
