Army Forces foil Houthis infiltration attempt in Lahj, shell their reinforcements in Taiz

The Yemeni Armed Forces foiled on Wednesday an infiltration attempt launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia in the north of Lahj province, southern Yemen.
Brigadier General Mahmoud Saiel al-Sobaihi, Commander of 3rd Brigade, said to September Net that a group of Houthi militiamen tried today’s morning to sneak into liberated sites in the east of Rahedah city, but the army troops foiled the militia’s attempt and forced its elements to flee and retreat.
The Houthi militia suffered heavy casualties during the clashes, added al-Sobaihi.
Meanwhile, the army forces launched yesterday night artillery shelling on movements and reinforcements of Houthi rebels in al-Hareer area in the northeast of Taiz province.
The Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in both personnel and combat equipments.
