The Iran-backed Houthi militia shot dead a woman in Hays district, south of Hodiedah province.

Local sources said a 40-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday night by a Houthi sniper while she was grazing sheep in the suburbs of Hays.

In the context, the Houthi militia fired mortars and artillery shelling on residential neighborhoods in Tohaita district south of Hodiedah, causing fear and panic among civilians.

The Houthi rebel militia continues its violations of ceasefire in Hodeidah, indiscriminately shelling residential neighborhoods causing civilian casualties, including women and children, in addition to serious damages to citizens’ homes and properties.
