A number of Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia elements including a senior leader have been killed during clashes with Yemeni Armed Forces in the west of Al-Dhale province.

The battles took place in Al-Fakher front, west of Qataba district, and resulted in killing of several Houthi rebels including a senior leader known as Mohammed Al-Marouni.
