A number of Iran-backed Houthi militia elements were killed and wounded on Wednesday during battles with Yemeni armed forces in the north of Al-Jawf province.

The armed forces carried out a military operation to trap a group of militia elements in Sabreen front of Khab Al-Sha`f district.

Several Houthi militants were killed and injured and also a number of their combat vehicles were destroyed.

In the context, the armed troops shot down a Houthi bomb-laden drone over Marib city.
