The spokesman of the Yemeni government Rajeh Badi said on Wednesday the Houthi blocking of a UN ship from leaving Hodeidah port is a strong arm act.
The Houthi militants on Tuesday blocked a U.N.-chartered ship carrying representatives of the internationally recognized government from leaving Hodeidah port.
He deplored the UN’s silence at the Houthi move.
The ship had been scheduled to sail Tuesday toward Mokha port in Taiz to drop off the government representatives.
He deplored the silence of Abhijit Guha the Chair of the Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC) and Head of the United Nations Mission over the ship detention matter.
