Houthi militia suffers heavy losses during clashes with army forces in Taiz

Violent clashes broke out on Tuesday between Yemeni armed forces and the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Al-Dhabab front in the southwest of Taiz city.
The clashes came after the rebel militia failed to make a breakthrough on the western front and Han mountain.
The clashes resulted in the killing and wounding of tens Houthi militia, in addition to heavy losses in combat equipment.
In the context, the Houthi rebel militia shelled residential areas in Bir Basha, the old airport and Al-Dhabab western the city, causing severe damage to citizens’ property.
