Yemen’s armed forces on Saturday stopped infiltration attempts by the Houthi militia in the southwestern province of Taiz.

The army succeeded to thwart Houthi militia an infiltration attempt in Al-Salu front, in the south of the province, killing and wounding some Houthi militants.

Moreover, the Houthi militia shelled army positions on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Al-Dhale and Taiz provinces, as well as Sarwah front, forcing the army to respond to these attacks, causing casualties.

The army continues to follow the orders of the President Hadi, to ceasefire in response to the call of the UN.
