Yemen’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Mqdashi payed Monday an inspection visit to the military units in Nihm Front, eastern capital Sana’a.

Chairing meeting of the 7th Military Region Command, briefing about the ongoing combat operations and new positions recently liberated from the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

He conveyed the greetings of the President Hadi on the 30th anniversary of the National Day May 22 and occasion of Eid Al-Fitr (Ramadan Break).

“Territory and sovereignty for Yemenis are matters of national dignity that can never be forfeited or compromised”, he pointed out.

He indicated that Yemenis are more eager to restore their freedom and depend on their armed forces to lift the injustice and suffering imposed by the old militia in service of plans alien to the people.

He valued the efforts made by the brothers in the Arab Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy led by Saudi Arabia in the battle for one Arab destiny.
