Army’s engineering teams extracted over the past two days 30 landmines laid by the Houthi rebel militia in Hajjah province north Yemen.
A military source said on Monday the landmines of different sizes and designed for different targets were found planted in public roads and private farms in Bani al-Haddah of Hajjah governorate.
“The military teams of engineers are in the process of cleaning up the liberated territories from Houthi-laid landmines which threaten people’s lives and prevent the return of displaced people back home”, the source added .
