Prime Minister visits Administrative Capital in Cairo

Prime Minister Ma’een Abdulmalik and accompanying delegation paid Tuesday a visit to the new Administrative Capital, which is considered the first investment project in Egypt with aims to be the most modern capital in the world.
Prime Minister and the delegation toured a number of completed vital projects and architectural buildings in the new capital and listened to a review from the concerned officials on the component of the project and steps of implementing it and steps of carrying it out.
Prime Minister was briefed by the Chairman of the Board of the Authority of New Urban Societies Ahmad Zaki Abdeen on the project of the new administrative capital, which aims at establishing an economic city for attracting investments.
Constructed near Suez Canal, eastern Cairo, the project targets 500 thousand people and 40-50 government employees.
Built on total area of 170 thousand acres, the project will target in its final stages 6.5 million people with working opportunities to 2 million people.
