A number of members of Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia were killed Sunday by army gunfire in the central province of Al-Bayda

The army forces carried out a surprise attack against group of militiamen while trying to infiltrate positions in the Qaniya front, leaving several militants killed and injured and forcing the rest to flee.

Scores of Houthi militants were also killed during clashes with the fighters of the popular resistance in different areas in the Qurayshiya district, in the same province.

Meanwhile, Coalition airstrikes targeted Houthi militia in al-Sakhar area of Al-Quraysh district, resulted in killing and injuring several insurgents and destroying one tank and one combat vehicle.
