Army advances in Al-Byda amid heavy losses suffered by militia

Yemen’s armed forces, backed by the popular resistance, launched a well-planned offensive on Wednesday, liberating new strategic positions northern Al-Bayda, amid heavy losses suffered by the coup militia.
Brig. Gen. Ahmed al-Naqeh, commander of the 117th Infantry Brigade, said the army, backed by popular resistance, succeeded to liberate a number of positions and strategic heights in several areas of the Qaniya front, following a well-planned attack with the direct support of the Saudi-led coalition
The army’s battles are continuing amid significant progress, he said.
He stressed that the coup militia has suffered significant losses in life and equipment.
