Several elements of the Iran-backed Houthi militia were killed Saturday during clashes with the army in Al-Bayda province, central Yemen.

The clashes erupted as groups of militiamen tried to infiltrate into the Al-Mashreif area and Al-Labb valley northern the province.

Houthi militia’s attempt countered by the army, forced the militants to retreat and flee, after killing and wounding a number of them.
