Vice President of the Republic (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh applauded the ongoing heroic fighting by the Yemen’s armed forces backed by resistance and tribesmen against Houthi rebels in Al-Jawf province.

His statement came during a phone call he conducted on Thursday with the governor of Al-Jawf Maj. Gen. Ameen al-Aukaimi.

Al-Aukaimi reported to Mohsen about the ongoing combat operations and the significant military advancements gained in different frontline battles by the government’s troops against Iran-backed Houthi militiamen.

The Vice President expressed thanks and gratitude to the brothers in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for their key role in supporting the legitimate Yemeni government and Yemeni people against Iran-allied Houthi militia’s coup.
