VP: Houthi militia insists on fighting, ignores peace efforts
The Vice President of the Republic Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh confirmed that the ongoing terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi rebel militia with boats loaded with explosives, drones and missiles on international sea routes and cities of Yemen and saudi Arabia, proved that this group belongs to the Iranian regime and its continued determination to implement Iranian expansion plans, with no interest in peace initiatives and efforts.
This came during a telephone conversation between Mohsen and the governor of Marib, Maj. Gen. Sultan al-Arada, on Thursday.
During the telephone conversation, the governor informed the Vice President about the situation in Marib, including ongoing combat operations against the Houthi terrorist militia militants
The vice president praised the heroic battles fought by national military forces on various fronts alongside tribesmen backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition.
Mohsen expressed deep gratitude to the Saudi-led Arab coalition for its significant and sustained support for Yemen’s armed forces against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
