Yemen’s armed forces on Wednesday liberated a strategic mountain range northwest of Marib after fighting broke out with the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
Brig. Gen. Abdo Al-Mekhlafi, Commander of the 22nd Infantry Brigade, told September Net that the army had liberated the key mountain range west of Marib.
Brig. Gen. Al-Mekhlafi said the Houthi militias were inflicted heavy losses, while army artillery has destroyed a number of militia’s combat vehicles.
He pointed out that the Houthi militia is now very weak, stressing that the next stage will be decisive, militia will be defeated and Sana’a will be liberated.
