A top Houthi leader and three of his escorts were killed Monday during battles with Yemeni armed forces east of Sana’a province.

A military source confirmed to September net that, the fighting intensified east of Sana’a province between the army with direct support from the Arab coalition air force and the Iran-backed Houthi militia, killed and injured a number of Houthi militants, while the rest fled.

Meanwhile, army’s artillery targeted the car of a Houthi leader, killing him and three of his companions, and burning the car in the same front.
