More than 200 women inside Houthi militia-run prisons are being tortured, according to a report released last week by Sam for Rights & Freedoms Organization.
The organization has monitored a number of serious violations and war crimes in the prisons and detention facilities of the Houthi militia.
In a report, the organization warned the international community not to continue to deal with the Yemeni issue in a manner of indifference to the violations and crimes of the Houthis against Yemeni civilians, especially women.
The organization noted that its research team obtains certificates from former detainees, reflecting the extent of the Houthi militia crimes which are contrary to international law and international conventions.
In a statement, the organization blamed the international community for what happened to women held in Houthi militia run prisons.
