45 Houthi militants killed west of Marib

Dozens of Iran-backed Houthi rebels were killed and wounded Saturday in battles with Yemen’s armed forces in  Al-Mashjah front, west of Marib province.

A military commander confirmed to September Net that the fighting broke out as groups of Houthi militiamen tried to advance toward al-Mashjah front.

Army backed by tribesmen impeded the militia’s infiltration attempt, killing 45 militants, including leaders, and wounding others, as well as destroying their combat vehicles, he explained.

Moreover, Arab coalition fighters bombed the militia’s reinforcements coming to the same area, he added.
