‘MASAM’ removes 1557 landmines, UXOs in 3rd week of June

KSrelief Center’s Demining Project in Yemen “MASAM” managed to take out 1,557 of Houthi militia-laid landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the 3rd week of June 2021.

MASAM reported that 9 anti-personnel and 241 anti-tanks landmines and 1,307 UXOs were removed.

The Houthi militiamen planted, continued to do, hundreds of landmines in different Yemeni regions.
