Yemen’s Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has stressed the imperative of exercising an international pressure on the Houthi militia over constant rejection of peace and for continuing to smuggle in Iranian weapons to destabilize Yemen and the region as well as threaten the international shipping.

In a meeting with the British ambassador to Yemen Richard Oppenheim here on Wednesday, the Vice President referred to the government’s offer of concessions during the consecutive rounds of peace negotiations while seeking to reach peace with the militia.

The Vice President also referred to the ongoing Saudi efforts to enforce the Riyadh Agreement and secure the return of the government to the temporary capital Aden.
