A child was killed today Saturday in by explosive device planted previously  by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in the Governorate of Hodeida.

Local sources said that 12-year old Hussein Matyouf was martyred due to explosion of land mine laid by Houthi militia in the village of Aleksh, south of Hais District.

Land mines and explosive devices planted by the Houthi militia in Hodeida have resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties including women and children in the governorate.
