Yemen’s armed forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdo Mugali on Friday in a press briefing reviewed the latest military operations in various battle fronts against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia.

He said that army forces in the fifth military region continue to advance on the ground in Haradh district, Hajjah province, confirming that the army liberated large parts of Haradh city by 80%, as well as securing the international line linking Hajjah and Hodeidah provinces at a distance of 70 km.

 In Marib fronts, Mugali said large quantities of weapons, equipment and ammunition have been recovered, killing and wounding a number of Houthi militants.

 “Houthi militia attacks have been repelled, west of Taiz province, and the army is still engaged in heavy fighting there against the Houthi militia”, he added.
