The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ali al-maqdashi, on Tuesday inspected the military units western Taiz governorate.

During the visit Gen. al-maqdashi was accompanied by the commander of the Fourth military region, Major Gen. Fadel Hassan, and a number of units and military and security commanders.

He was briefed on the latest developments in the ground, continuing violations of the declared UN truce by the Houthi militia, and the level of military readiness.

The Minister of Defense conveyed to soldiers and officers the greetings of the political and military leadership on, affirming that the disciplined and organized army is the guarantee of state preservation and national sovereignty.
