Yemen, Jordan discuss resumption of joint committee’s activities

Yemen’s Ambassador to Jordan Jalal Faqirah discussed Thursday with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman al-Safadi means of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and resumption of holding meetings of the Yemeni-Jordanian Joint Committee.

The two parties also discussed protocols of technical cooperation and mechanisms of political consultation between the two countries.

Ambassador Faqirah discussed with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister latest developments and political situations in Yemen, as well as humanitarian situation of Yemeni people over Houthi terrorist militia’s stubbornness, praising facilitations provided by Kingdom of Jordan to Yemeni citizens.

For his part, the Jordanian deputy prime minister, the minister of foreign affairs confirmed deep-rooted brotherly historical relations between the two countries, renewing support of Jordan to the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to reach a political solution leading to realizing permanent stability and security in Yemen.
