In a remarkable achievement, the MASAM demining project in Yemen, operated by the KSrelief Center, has eliminated a total of 783 landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO), and explosive devices within a single week in September 2023.

According to a report from the Center, the highly skilled deminers of MASAM managed to extract 84 anti-tank mines, 2 anti-personnel landmines, 687 UXO, along with 5 random explosive devices that had been placed by Houthi militiamen.

The demining project has successfully removed an astounding 414,526 landmines to date, reflecting its steadfast commitment to its critical mission in Yemen.
