Governor of Marib, Major General Sultan bin Ali Al-Erada, and Captain Saleh Salim bin Nahid, head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, have laid the foundation stone to complete the Marib International Airport project.

The project includes 14 airport buildings, aprons, parking lots, roads, runway paving, and an entrance.

Once operational, the airport will provide services for domestic and international flights, air freight for imports and exports, and aircraft fueling and maintenance.

Al-Erada expressed his joy in being part of this strategic project and thanked the relevant authorities and individuals for their efforts in making it happen.
