The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today with deep sorrow the passing of veteran diplomat Ambassador Abdulgani Nasr Al-Shamiri, who succumbed to illness at MMC Hospital in Jakarta.

Al-Shamiri dedicated his life to public service, holding several key positions within the Yemeni government. Prior to his ambassadorship to Indonesia, he served in various capacities within the Presidency, Ministry of Information, and media institutions.

The Ministry extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends of the ambassador. Al-Shamiri is remembered for his significant contributions to Yemen and its diplomatic relations.
