Defense Minister discusses with Ambassadors of Britain, France military, security cooperation

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri met separately today, Sunday, with the British Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif and French Ambassador Katherine Corm Kammoun to discuss military and security cooperation, marine security and fighting terrorism.

The conversations touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene in light of the persistent of the attacks of the terrorist Houthi militias on the shipping ships and marine navigation.

General al-Daeri made it clear that the ideal solution to secure the international trade routes in Bab el-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea is to sustain the capacities of the government armed forces.

The Minister of Defense noted that the armed forces have been fighting the Houthi militias and the terrorist organizations which act in collaboration with them.
