Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Governor of Marib Major General Sultan Al-Erradah, met with UN envoy advisor Anthony Hayward to discuss military developments and the escalating activities of the Houthi militia.

He emphasized the need for the international community to reassess its stance on the Houthis, highlighting their threat to regional and global stability and trade.

Al-Erradah called for urgent international actions to limit the militia’s influence and support Yemen’s legitimate government in restoring order and addressing the humanitarian crisis.

For his part, Hayward reiterated the UN’s commitment to achieving peace and supporting Yemen’s government in these efforts.
