Head of Operations Authority Inspects Readiness of Facilities Police and VIP Protection in Marib

The Head of the Operations Authority, Major General Khaled Al-Ashwal, conducted an inspection visit on Sunday to the camp of the Facilities Police and VIP Protection Forces in Marib Governorate. The visit aimed to closely assess the combat and security readiness of the forces, as well as the security deployment plans across the governorate.

Upon arrival, Major General Al-Ashwal was received by the Deputy Director of the Facilities Guard and VIP Protection Police, Colonel Mohammed Al-Qarah, the Head of Branch Operations, Colonel Ahmed Alaa, and several other commanders and officers.

During the visit, the Head of the Operations Authority chaired an expanded meeting with the leadership and officers of the Facilities Police. He listened to a detailed briefing presented by the police leadership on the latest security and operational developments in the governorate.

The briefing included a thorough explanation of the security and combat readiness levels of the Facilities Guard Police, as well as a comprehensive review of the security plans in place to protect vital and government facilities. It also covered details of the security deployment aimed at addressing various challenges and threats that could affect citizen safety and public order in Marib.

Major General Al-Ashwal praised the significant and dedicated efforts of the Facilities Guard Police in securing and protecting government and vital institutions in the governorate. He specifically highlighted the pivotal role played by the police in safeguarding the Safer Oil Company and the Marib Gas Power Plant.

The Head of the Operations Authority also commended the various security and field tasks carried out efficiently and competently by the Facilities Guard and VIP Protection Police to maintain security and stability in Marib.

In his remarks, Major General Al-Ashwal stressed the importance of continued and enhanced coordination and close cooperation between the armed forces and all security agencies in carrying out joint military and security tasks. He emphasized the need for concerted efforts to address current challenges and preserve the security and stability of the governorate.

For his part, Colonel Mohammed Al-Qarah, Deputy Director of the Facilities Guard and VIP Protection Police, expressed his welcome and appreciation for the field visit conducted by Major General Khaled Al-Ashwal to the Facilities Camp, considering it a significant morale boost for the forces.

Colonel Al-Qarah affirmed the full readiness of the Facilities Police to carry out all assigned tasks in various locations and fields with utmost efficiency and competence, sacrificing for the security and stability of Marib Governorate and the protection of its resources.
