European Union Mission affirms support to PLC, Government for security

The European Union Mission in Yemen affirmed its support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government in the efforts made to enhance security and stability.

In a post on the (X) platform, the mission appreciated the comprehensive briefing of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi on the recent developments in Hadhramaut and al-Mahra.

It stressed the need to settle political differences through political means and dialogue.

The mission welcomed all efforts aimed at descalation through mediation, renewing the European Union’s support for the Yemeni people and sharing their aspirations for freedom, security and prosperity.
