Yemeni Ministry of Defense Receives Food Aid Convoy from Jordanian Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Yemen received a food aid convoy dispatched by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) on Saturday as part of the humanitarian support and brotherly solidarity between the two countries.

Brigadier General Yahya Abu Hatem, Military Attaché at the Yemeni Embassy in Jordan, stated that Jordan has consistently stood with the Yemeni people. He extended his thanks and appreciation for this generous initiative by the leadership of the JAF, represented by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti.

Brigadier General Ali Al-Qadri, Deputy Director of the Supply Department, welcomed the convoy officials, affirming that this support reflects the historic and ongoing solidarity of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with Yemen. He conveyed the greetings of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff to the Jordanian leadership, praising its supportive role toward Arab brothers and its attention to their concerns.

On behalf of the Yemeni people, Al-Qadri expressed profound gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Crown Prince, and the people of Jordan for this humanitarian initiative and their support for their Yemeni brothers under critical circumstances.

The Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the convoy was dispatched in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the JAF, reflecting Jordan’s commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and enhancing Arab solidarity during critical times.
