The Presidential Leadership Council has dismissed the Minister of Transport, Abdulsalam Saleh Humaid Hadi, and the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Waed Abdullah Badhib, from their posts and referred both officials for investigation.
The decision, issued under Presidential Decree No. 2 of 2026, takes immediate effect and was made following consultations with the Prime Minister. It cites public interest as the driving reason behind the move.
The decree also applies to any other positions the two ministers may hold within the government
