Minister of Interior meets with UN Envoy’s Office team

The Minister of Interior in the takeover government Maj. General Ibrahim Haidan met today, Wednesday, with a delegation from the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen headed by the Senior Military Adviser to the UN Envoy Anthony Hayward.

The conversations covered Interior Ministry’s ongoing efforts to establish security and stability in the government-held governorates and to improve maritime security as well as, security services’ efforts to manage current challenges, including the terrorist groups threats.

General Haidan highlighted the importance of joining efforts to deal with the real problem : the terrorist Houthi militias which threaten security and stability.
