Finance Minister Signs New Saudi Support Agreement with Ambassador al-Jaber

The Minister of Finance Marwan bin Ghanem signed today, Sunday, a new Saudi support agreement with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Yemen and General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Mohammed al-Jaber.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided 1.3 billion Saudi riyals in aid to cover the budget deficit through the payment of employees’ salaries.
The Minister of Finance stated that this new Saudi support is very helpful at this current difficult stage to contribute to the payment of the salaries of state employees in both the central and local authorities and economic units.
Bin Ghanem expressed deep appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and to the government and people of the Kingdom for their noble, sincere and supportive positions towards Yemen and Yemenis in all fields, various stages and under the most difficult circumstances.
