Prime Minister discusses strengthening bilateral relations with Dutch Ambassador

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani received on Thursday the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen, Jeannette Seppen, and discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them across various fields.
Prime Minister welcomed the Dutch Ambassador, expressing his appreciation for the support provided by the Dutch government to Yemen and the importance of its continuation in supporting the government’s efforts to improve economic and service conditions.
He also extended congratulations on the formation of the new Dutch government, affirming Yemen government’s keenness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations and expand cooperation areas in a way that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
He reviewed the government’s efforts to improve the level of basic services, enhance security and stability and implement a package of economic and administrative reforms aimed at achieving stability and alleviating citizens’ suffering.
For her part, the Dutch Ambassador affirmed her country’s commitment to continuing support for the Yemeni government and strengthening partnership in priority areas.
She praised the efforts made to achieve stability and improve overall conditions, renewing the Netherlands’ commitment to continue supporting Yemen in various fields.
