President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received congratulatory messages from a number of kings, presidents, and leaders of brotherly and friendly countries on the occasion of Yemen’s 36th National Day, May 22. The messages expressed sincere congratulations and wishes for peace, stability, and development for the Yemeni people.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a congratulatory cable expressing his best wishes to President Al-Alimi for good health and happiness, and to Yemen and its people for security and stability.
President Al-Alimi also received a similar message from Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, who affirmed the deep brotherly and historic relations between the two countries.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council also received congratulatory messages from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who wished Yemen further progress and prosperity under security and stability, while stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation.
President Al-Alimi also received congratulatory messages from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Emperor Naruhito, and Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who expressed wishes for peace and prosperity for the Yemeni people and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in support of regional and international security and stability.
