Deputy Chief of Staff Holds Expanded Meeting with Military Authorities, Departments and Regions

Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Ahmed Al-Basr held an expanded meeting today in the interim capital Aden with heads of military authorities, commanders of military regions, and department directors to discuss the level of military performance and readiness at all levels.

During the meeting, attended by Inspector General of the Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Adel Al-Qumairi via video conference, the Deputy Chief of Staff listened to performance reports presented by heads of authorities and military region commanders on the level of achievement in operational, administrative, and training aspects, as well as efforts aimed at strengthening combat readiness and military discipline.

The Deputy Chief of Staff praised the efforts made by the military authorities and regions in carrying out their national duties, stressing the importance of maintaining readiness and military discipline across all units, and emphasizing the need to redouble efforts and work with a sense of responsibility.

The meeting also stressed the importance of meeting the needs of the Armed Forces and providing necessary requirements to improve fighters’ efficiency and strengthen combat capabilities at all levels.
