The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has voiced Yemen’s strong condemnation of the continued missile and drone attacks directed at the sisterly State of Kuwait, describing the assaults as a grave breach of national sovereignty, international law, and the United Nations Charter, as well as a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability.
The ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s firm opposition to any actions aimed at violating the sovereignty of fellow Arab states or undermining their safety and stability. It also renewed the Republic of Yemen’s unwavering solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all steps taken to preserve the country’s security and protect both citizens and residents.
According to the statement, the attacks once again demonstrate the hostile conduct of the Iranian regime and its persistence in pursuing destabilizing policies across the region, whether through direct involvement or by backing affiliated armed groups and militias.
The ministry urged the international community and the UN Security Council to take decisive action in response to these repeated aggressions, emphasizing the need to safeguard regional security and maritime routes, and to halt the financing, arming, and support of cross-border terrorist militias, particularly the Houthi terrorist militias.
