Prime Minister: Houthis Responsible for Derailing Peace Efforts

Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani said the Yemeni government has exhausted all peace opportunities, accusing the terrorist Houthi militia of undermining mediation efforts and pushing Yemen toward further conflict.

In a message to Yemenis in Houthi-controlled areas, Zindani said the government supported Saudi-Omani and UN-led peace initiatives, while the militia rejected commitments and resumed escalation.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a comprehensive peace process and called on the Houthis to return to dialogue, warning that continued threats to national security would face a firm response.
