Al-Amaliqa Brigades Seize Shipment of Specialized Weapons-Manufacturing Materials Bound for Houthis in Bab al-Mandab

Al-Amaliqa Brigades intercepted Tuesday a boat in the Bab al-Mandab Strait carrying specialized materials and equipment used in weapons manufacturing that was en route to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia in Hodeidah Governorate.

A military source said naval patrols from the Brigades stationed in the Bab al-Mandab sector intercepted and seized the vessel, arresting its crew of smugglers affiliated with the Houthi militia following a precise intelligence-led surveillance and tracking operation.

The source added that the relevant authorities are currently inspecting and securing the entire shipment. Details of the seized materials and equipment will be announced once investigations and the required legal procedures have been completed.
