Prime Minister: Aden Tops Government Priorities

Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani affirmed that Aden remains a top government priority as the center of state administration and efforts to restore state institutions.
During a meeting with Aden Governor and Minister of State Abdulrahman Sheikh and local officials, Zindani said the government is working with the local authority to improve basic services, strengthen security, and address longstanding challenges.
He stressed the need for closer government-local authority coordination, stronger oversight, and institutional reforms based on transparency, efficiency, and the rule of law to restore public confidence.
The prime minister also directed the preparation of a joint plan to address service and development needs, enhance infrastructure, encourage private sector participation, and restore Aden’s historic and cultural role.
Local officials reviewed ongoing projects and efforts to improve services, including sustainable solutions for electricity, institutional reform, and security enhancement.
