Foreign Minister Praises Norwegian Support for Humanitarian Actions in Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba met today, Wednesday, with Norway’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Kjersti Tromsdal.

They discussed bilateral relations and the Norwegian contribution to support the humanitarian response efforts.
Al-Zouba expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Norway for its significant contribution to the humanitarian response plan and actions in Yemen.

The Foreign Minister touched on the Houthi terrorist militias continuous attacks on the commercial ships, emphasizing that targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea poses a threat to the security and safety of navigation and the freedom of international trade.

The Norwegian Ambassador confirmed her country’s continued support for the Yemeni government and its commitment to backing efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.
